Birds of paradise really interest me, but this website really let me down. It has no information readily available. :-( Please improve.

Hi Edwin,
Excellent!!! At last a good up-to-date site on BoP. I hope to do a series of paintings featuring many of these birds and hope you can post more excellent photos and videos of the rarer species for reference material in the future. Have you, or do you intend to, photograph/ video the Arfak astrapia? As far as I know this species has not been photographed ever. What a wonderful choice of study material you have chosen. Please delight us further with your researches.
Good luck and best regards.

I've always been hopelessly allured by the BoPs (and who isn't, unless you are irredemably hard hearted)! One of my "things to do before I die" is to see them "live". You have a wonderful website...keep up the good work in your research, stay safe and please post more videos!

Hi Edwin,
Wonderful source for the BoP info. I used to work with some of BoP at the Bali Bird Park. I have a plan to do deeper breeding research in Papua (Indonesia). I can have a lot of info from yours. Many thanks to you

Hello edwin,
i have only recently discovered the amazing birds of paradise, i'm from Australia, living in Paris for a year.. doing some university study and sorting out my path in life.. 24, suddenly a lot of things seem less important..
I really appreciate the time and effort you have spent on your website and your scientific and personal perspective on evolution, i found it a very refreshing and creative.
do you have a newsleter or update on your studies?
I'm wondering if you could add some information on what is involved in one of your trips? i would love to make it to new guinea and being so close in Australia it could be a reality. do you have any trips planned for the end of the year or next year?
Please keep up with an amazing body of work.
Regards
Austin
